"Our Gifted Love"
It has taken me some time to be able to sit down and write this.
When we got back from vacation Feb. 15th we found Lucky to be critically ill.
We had him put down 5 days later.  It was a very difficult decision and extremely
difficult on Greg and I.  Lucky was not a known for his beautiful movement or
great conformation, he made up for what he lacked by having a huge Heart.  He
would do anything you asked of him to the best of his ability.  He was 7 when I
got him and had a pretty bad life he was skin and bones and had 12 documented
owners by that time.  I would like to think the last 11 years of his life were happy
for him.  Lucky was the first horse to give me confidence over fences.  And taught
many students how to ride dressage and jump.  Greg fell in love with Lucky
shortly after we met, he proposed to me on the beach in the middle of December
while he was on Lucky and I on Promise and I gave Lucky to Greg that Christmas.
Greg and Lucky loved to go on trail rides together and hunter paces.  Lucky got
excited every time Greg tacked him up.  They were the best of friends and the faster
they ran the happier they both were.

We will all miss Lucky dearly.
